2016 is almost over and our trip to South East Asia is just over 2 months away.
We fly to and from Bangkok, stay in 17 different locations in 4 countries over a period of 5 weeks.
This trip is more about travelling than our 2015 trip (South East Asia Without A Net here on blogspot) and less about staying in holiday resorts.
However, the following day after arrival we are flying down to Phuket for 5 nights before commencing the 'loop'.
We start at Phnom Penn then move into the Mekong Delta. We take the Reunification Express from Saigon in the south of Vietnam to Hanoi in the north stopping at Hoi An and Hue.
We then cruise Halong Bay before flying to Luang Prabhang in Laos.
We take a Mekong slowboat back into Thailand then fly south from Chaing Rai to take in Ayutthaya before heading home again.
Now its a battle to lose two stone before the end of February.
